WHAT IS A DOULA?

The word doula comes from the Greek and means, “Woman Servant”.  Today, we use the term doula to refer to women who have experience with labor and birth and are trained as labor support specialists.   Thank you for choosing the Presbyterian Doulas for your Labor and Birth! Please download our birth plan, fill it out, and make your payment, on the "Hire The Presbyterian Doula Services" button.  We will call and schedule your doula appointment.   Our Doulas serve both at Presbyterian Hospital Downtown as well as Presbyterian Rust Medical Center, in Rio Rancho.  We look forward to serving you!
